get the recycle bin icon back onto your desktop if you accidentally deleted it instead of pressing 'empty recycle bin?'

To restore it later, go to Personalization in Control Panel.

Thats what it says for me if i try to do that.

this is for vista, but im not sure u can delete the bin in other windows versions..

i couldn't find anything in personalisation

Control Panel -> Personalisation -> Along the left blue vertical shaded area, under Tasks click on Change Desktop Icons
