Hey guys,
Basically, I want to be a secondary teacher majoring in Ancient History with an English minor. I want to go to Macquarie University for this.
I'm a little unsure about how the degree actually works. I'll obviously be doing a 'Bachelor of Arts with the Diploma of Education with a specialisation in Secondary Teaching'. Say I pick my B Arts major to be 'Ancient History - Greece, Rome and Late Antiquity' - then what? Is that all I'll study besides the required education units and my minor? Or do I have to do other studies specific to ancient history besides my major?
I'm just a little confused about it all, mainly because most people where I live go to the Uni of Newcastle and they do things a little differently there...
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I think I have a better hold on this now. I have another question though - is doing a double major in Ancient History and English feasible?
