Hi. I'm at ANU and currently finding it completely different to what I imagined. Firstly its been 3 days since uni officially started but already I'm behind in my readings. ANU seems very stingy when it comes to providing course outlines and lecture notes, everything has to be printed off from the internet! This is time consuming especially when the server is overloaded. The lectures seem to cover a lot of the txtbk material which means reading over the textbook doesn't really provide much additional info (imo). The lecture notes are almost condensed versions of the chapters. How do we know what is important and what should we focus on? How are we supposed to study? Any tips, suggestions which will maximize marks?
