Hi everyone,
I'm going to study Hamlet this year, but today I got back my marks for my Prelim Othello yearly essay which got me a 11/15 because I lacked any detail on discussing language (textual integrity) and the structure of the play. I was just wondering how do go about this, with Shakespeare's plays in general. I want to improve on this section the most, I struggle with Shakespeare as a critical study lol.
Do we talk about the forms of the language of the play, like recurring phrases/themes? Or how characters talk to each other, and when we talk about the structure of the play, do we talk about it being a tragedy or comedy or something? Thanks.
