i read dune in about 8 hours (just read it straight in one day, got up to go the toilet and eat, thats it)

Six hundred is comfortable for me, but I can push myself to eight hundred.

apparently lots of left-handers speedread?
and most people who speedread trace shapes with their fingers while they are reading.
my old boss told me both those things, probably not true but they apply to me...

i read dune in a day, but iw as literally in bed all day reading, i got up to eat and go to the toilet

i also read the devinci code in a day, good books i just read quickly because i become engrossed

i'm a fast reader... the more i like a book, the faster i read it but i read everything fairly quickly.

Im really slow reader. For example if took me at least over 3 months to read Lord of the rings. But thats a story. For political books it takes me longer because there is no story, there is less incentive to read on.

if i have to read something fast i can read about 750 words a min, (i did this test kinda thing once) abut if im jsut reading for liesure i take longer, coz i wanna take in every word
