uni isnt all fun and making friends- there is some work involved

you are the best judge of how close to failing you are, but considering youre a 1st yr student ill say take it easy

its only been one week- put some effort in or dont bother wasting your time collecting hecs debt

pretty much what he said ^

"how hard" is it to fail an exam/assessment? pretty easy.

Don't put effort + don't give it in = fail

you dont turn up to lectures and dont do your readings then youre pretty much stuffed, so i guess if you want to avoid failing, i say work consistently

There is a lot I could say about this but the simple truth is if you try as hard as you can then you almost definitely won't fail (unless you are really stupid).

If you try hard enough you can fail. Usually when in the first lecture of any subject the lecturer will tell you the best way to fail a subject.

yes and in the overview of how to fail the subject it will generally involve doing absolutely nothing throughout the semester.

if you do the work it is virtually impossible to fail.

Guess that makes me a genious in your books, even a bigger one because I don't take any notes.

To the OP, if you do the work you said, you will pass the subject.
