How is everyones major works going??? i have started 4/10 paintings and finished 2, starting to panic slightly because oil paints take so long to dry

Thanks, the pain i am feeling is of the teacher constantly yelling at me to get my act together and hurry up. anyone else have that problem???

na, my teacher is really really nice
she helps us heaps - keeps us on track.

Im not really all that far along with my art work, I keep on changing my ideas and getting more annoyed at the world.

argh, thats like me. i know what i want to do (mediums etc), but the concept keeps changing... my teacher hates me for it lol...

I've started one digital panel... yey for me.. i'm so screwed >.<

My teacher was getting frustrated, but it's all okay now.
I'm using water colours and coloured pencil on a medium scale collection of works. Approx. 5 - sizes vary.
Everything has been drawn up, I'm just colouring it now.

I wouldn't worry too much, lot's of people are still a bit behind.

Visual Arts is hard... I think I'm finding it difficult to be motivated with anything, let alone being creative!!!

im like 70% through my main painting and its killing me..
i think its over three weeks now, getting bored.
i started very late so ill have to do the other little paintings in the holidays.
but i hafta study for trials damnit.

I feel you hunny, I have so much work to do, I'm looking at my paintings and going damn... why is it so difficult to get motivated?
I think the next couple of months will be hell, not just with art, but across all aspects of school.
It's freak-out time kids, are you ready? I'm sure as hell not.

i amm soooo behind with mine.....
so are most of the students in both classes at my skool.....
i think we are the worst and slowest students my teacher has ever had in his years of teaching..!!!

my ideas changed many times...
i dont have time to do major work i have TRAILS to study for!!!
and i havent even done many pieces....

I WISH I NEVER CHOOSE VA........ its very stressfull... i dont want to drop it coz then IT will bring me down + i suck at IT...

I know what you mean, I have sort-of changed my concept, but not dramatically, just added to it.

It's difficult to remain focused on your concept, without being bored etc.

The only advice I can give is to stick with whatever you have now, concept wise, and just get it done.

It may be a creative thing, but it's more about it being an assessment, and a major work.
