we just finished it today in my chem class

we finished it at the end of last term

Yeah, took us approximately one term.

Should of done it in term 4 of year 11. In general each topic takes just a little less than a term, since there are 4 topics it leaves you with about a month of revision, getting behind is not a good thing.
