What's the general trend on how many areas of debates exams ask you to analyse?

I've seen most ask you for two, and I was only going to study two, but I don't want to get in to the exam on Friday and see it asking me for three!

i was told to know two really well and then have a third one just there incase...depending on the nature of the question. im sure if you know 2 really well then you will have enough to do perfectly fine.
