yep exactly (i have a bad habit of "running out of steam" as the marker puts it, coz i am trying to do too much in an essay) and yes know 2 or 3 in detail and at least mention the other(s)

I'm gonna be using 2 of my own texts, 2 Coleridge poems and 1 from BoS booklet.
I'd say that's plenty.

ok i called the HSC advise line and they said that they can't ask for a specific coleridge or a specific stimulus text. phew!

Really? That's odd. I rang up a few days ago and they said that they absolutely could specify a Coleridge poem, so I'd have to learn all 4 just in case. He did however say it was unlikely -- but better to be safe than sorry i guess.
