i'm referring to two in depth but knowing a third in case i realise i can relate it well.

if you refer to one other one for a specific point but do two in depth i wouldn't see that as being bad.

i agree with you both. two is good enough, but 3, just incase i stuff up one and i can write more on another one.

im doing two in depth and bringing in quotes from a few others, just random good ones that tie in with my orts

I've been doing 3 previously but it's just too hard to fit all that into a 40 minute essay...so I think I'm gonna go with writing 2 in depth, but knowing that 3rd one *just incase*.

Theoretically, they *could*. A few years ago, the Catholic Trial specified a specific John Donne poem. The chances of it happening are limited, though.
