Practically. I studied nothing at all, after all, the SC doesn't matter unless you're dropping out in year 10. And besides, I'm more or less relying on the fact that all the stuff that I crammed two weeks prior for my exams are still in there... somewhat.

LOL, goodluck u guys/gals in ur school certificate - i remember studying for my school certificate, i did at least 15hrs good study per subject but when studying mathematics...I STUDIED 72HRS OVER 2 WEEKS just on math!?! lol (and im serious about that). This study rlly helped me for yr11 math, but i would say 15hrs might of still been appropriate as long as ur already quite good at math, otherwise i recommend minimum 20hrs.

again, goodluck pplz
lol, you may as well be wishing us luck for our half yearlys.

if homework and assignments counts, a fair bit

one day (a week or two before the SC) I did a whole day of geography as our teacher hadn't taught us a thing (literally) and another day I did half a day geography, half a day maths (it worked well for maths (topped the class))

as for english, history and science, not as much as I should of... but worked hard in class for all of these

so, i reckon sufficient study/homework time is 2 hours per night as long as your are working hard at school and do all homework and assignments too...

if not, a weekend of study before a test wouldn't go astray :)

I remember I did no work (or barely) through out the years (7-10), and did no studying what so ever before the SC...

But that was quite bad for my studying habits in yrs 11+12...
If the time were to rewind itself, I would have studied. Atleast that'd get me into shape for years 11 and 12.

troll probably just means strict parents (comparing them to something as harsh as a troll)

No, troll means a person who posts for attention, usually something to cause arguments or to insult someone.

Either way, Smithereens shouldn't have called him a troll, cause he really isn't being one.

A troll is someone who lurks on forums and chat rooms usually to argue, abuse and insult other users just for the sake of it.
