I'm doing a core performance, 2 elective performance and a viva. i've decided to do my viva based around movie music, maybe specifically on a composer (Alan Menken) who has written for alot of the scores or on the music more in general or specific movies. my 3 performances are all vocal, Scarlet by Brooke Fraser, Small Enough by Nicole Nordeman, this one has hamonr accompniment it's really sweet, and probably ordinary day- carlton.

i'm doing 3 Performances (piano) and one Viva
My performances are Sonata in E - Joseph Haydn, Girl with Flaxen Hair - Claude Debussy and XI (con vivacita) from visions and fugitives - Sergei Prokofiev
My viva comes under rock music and im looking at similarities in old and new songs

As for research techniques.. our teacher gives us a format:

- General research like an overview from all types of sources

- General research on your focus

- Score analyses, Aural analyses

- Practical work, composition work (we have to do a rhythmic and a melodic comp)
