Is there a way to find out how many people took each exam? Eg how many people in the state did general maths this year?

Dam, according to that table I was a maximum of 6 places off state rank for software! (16 people got 95+ and I was one of them)

Guys, does it mean that if you have very few people doing a course in NSW (say 10), every one will get around 90 or better? In this case would it be best to pick these unpopular courses rather than the tough math ext 2 or Eng ext 2???

After checking the table at http://www.uac.edu.au/documents/atar/2013-tables/2013_HSC_TableA3.pdf

I can see that it does not matter if you get near the top mark for the state, scaling does not affect your mark much for any course. But if you at at the middle (mean), it will be a nightmare to do easy subjects. Only math ext2 is scaled up at the mean by the look of it. So as long as you score over 90% you are safe regardless of the subject.

Did I read this right???
