How many quotes to remeber? (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

I am in Year 11 and my English Prelim is on Monday and I was just wondering how many quotes I would need to remember for the Prelim exam and also the HSC Exam?
I know that I need to remember quotes from each text, but as a whole including all texts, how many quotes should I try to remember and use in the exam?

I only remember quotes from prescribed texts. I had to write 2 essays in a 90 min time frame for my prelim yearlies, and I had to remember 16 each essay (4 for each paragraph), so 36~ quotes all together.

However, when i had an exam last year, I only had 1 legit quote in the whole essay. haha, I made the others up because I didnt have time to read the book. Still managed to get the highest mark in my class though
