I was wondering how many units is required to transfer directly from Macquarie university to UNSW. Each unit i do is worth 3 credit points and I have done 4 units last semester and was wondering if I would have to take 4 again or I could drop 2 and increase my GPA. I read online and the requirement is " one year of full-time study (minimum 0.75 full time equivalent load)" I'm not sure if this means 6 or 8 units. I'd appreciate it thanks.

So it would be fine if I dropped 2 units this semester? Since all the units would add up to 6 by the end of the year

Technically yes. Since you have finished 4 units in Semester 1. However, i recommend that you contact your course faculty and ask what the full time load is for your course, just in case.

[edit] wrote semester 2 accidentally, semester 1*
