Well I had to change a bit of my first draft. Scrap some. Add some totally new stuff. But then I was about 60 words over. So I chopped some unecessary sentences, words, etc and BAM. 8000 exactly.

well im not sure how long mine is.

let me explain...when i do a word count word says i have 8025 words - not bad since i havent edited it ...yet. but when i do a spell check it says 7975 - good. now can anyone tell me whats going on????? which one is the 'true' word count?
