My writing is of a similar size (8-9 words/line)..

I wrote;
Hatshepsut-4 pages
Rome: From Augustus To Titus-1 booklet
Egypt: Unification-Dynasty VI- 6 pages (I liked this question)
Minoans-3 pages (Had to write it in 30 minutes, but it was finished, which is the main thing.)

shelley why the hell would u write so much - what did u fit like one word to a line?
honestly man, the booklet for section 2 was that big for a reason.

Section 1: 7 pages
Section 2: 1 booklet
Section 3: 7 Pages
Section 4: 9 pages

The reason they give you an answer booklet with a set number of lines is because if you are articulate and clever enough, you should be able to fit all the necessary information for full marks within the space they have given you. If you needed to write more, they would obviously give you more room. It's not like you can exceed 25/25 marks.

I wrote 9 pages, filled the society booklet, 10 pages and 8 pages. Assuming a booklet contains 8 pages - i never bothered to count - am i correct?

^^ that's correct.

i planned lots and wrote succinctly - got it all onto the provided space for spartan society.

8 for pericles
8 for romes wars of expansion
8 for greece.

in every fucking exam i write 8 pages for each section! english as well! sooo close to getting the ribbon effect happening...

My writing is tiny...about 11 words a line.

Alexander the Great: 4 pages

Roman Society from Augustus to Titus: I filled out all the lines of parts c and d, question e went for 4/5 the way

Augustus and the Julio-Claudians: 4 pages

Greek world 500-440 BC: 4 pages

I was on a four page streak during the exams...guess that's how much I can write in 45 minutes...

EDIT: I must've looked pretty stupid saying '11 words a page'

11 words a page? Sorry, just stirring. ;)
I write probably around 7-8 words a line and i wrote about 6 or 7 pages for each section.
it does get a bit annoying with section 2 because i have so much to say and so little room to say it in. i often end up squishing in a little bit more just in the hope that they will give me more marks. but, id agree with mememe... the number of lines they give u is meant to be an indication of how much u should write.
*shrugs*
anyway - yay! no more augustus and his stupid psychotic descendents!

I wrote 14 pages for personality.

1 booklet for society, tiny bunched up handwriting in some sections, although defnintely not in the Spartan Leisure activities question - I was scatching for any bullshit there to fill in the 5 mark space!

12 Pages for Additional historical period.

Then actual historical period I only left 35 mins for and did 8 pages.
