How much does the raw mark from the HSC exam change, when the raw exam and ranks are used. Not anything specific, I was just wondering from past experience because I still don't fully understand it even after reading through many threads.

The aligning process is carried afresh every year so it's hard to say how much a raw mark can change.
If you have a look at the stickies on the technical arcana forum there are some threads that show the differences between raw and aligned hsc exams for a few subjects.
Usually the aligned mark is higher than the raw mark though.
