Just out of curiosity, if we get an 7 or 8 mark question for commentary in the hsc how much would you guys all write? I would probably write about 2.5 hsc booklet papers depending on how much i knew about the passage.

7 or 8 marks is quite a bit...I would be writing 3 pages...

Rather than the amount of pages, I'd be more concerned with how much I knew about the passage relating to that question. I would write as much as I know.

remember these pages are pretty spaced out in terms of lines and stuff, so it would probably be about 1.5 normal A4 pages, which is decent in my opinion! i think a lot of the time, you just make up stylistic features to take up space!
