Most people turn eighteen in year 12... tho I know some people who are older/younger

the legal age of a child starting school is 5. but say in 93 wen i first started, though i wasnt five yet, i could still attend that year. the lega age in nsw is july 31st the last day, for children turning 5.

But back on topic, I think some other countries start school at different ages, that's why there's quite a variation in ages sometimes.

Could be worse. A friend of mine will be sixteen when we go to schoolies. It's a bugger- we have to stay in NSW, because her parents won't let her go interstate.

Meanwhile, I'm turning eighteen smack in the middle of trials.

no kidding , we had international asian students who were 19,20 and even 21 .years on . this was in year 12. haha , glad iam not in high school anymore
