I prefer studying things off-tangents and far removed from the actual topic of study, while it is incredibly irrelevant to anything in the exams, it sure keeps my attention from wandering.

i generally work best in one hour spaces, and then just take a break at the end of every hour for 10 min or so.

depending on how enthusiastic i get the longer i work, the longer the break. but thats a rarity sometimes.

i used to have to force myself to study - crammed the night before... actually the morning off the exam (from my friends study notes :)) but this year i am getting better.... i TRY and study everynight - sometimes successful but tv comes first still :( but normally after an hour i loose all motivation - breaks distracts me

My attention span fluctuates. A lot. Anywhere from 15 minutes to 5 or 6 hours (in the latter case matters such as lunch and dinner are particularly annoying, but saviours to my sanity in the former case)

LOL, don't we all? A bit of Vogue and gossip mags every so often completely overrides the study period.

grrrr :mad1:

If I study too much I physically can't take it, so I usually study for a hour or so before I go get something to eat, check my email, etc.

Me too. Sometimes I can go for hours at a time and i even forget to eat! 3.5 hours max without any breaks. I can last 6 hours with a couple of 10 minuters sometimes.

But sometimes i cant even sit still for 20 minutes!
