How to apply to university (1 Viewer)

If you had to explain the application process to a current Year 12 student, what would you say? Eg you don't apply to individual uni's, you apply through UAC etc Cheers

First of all it's not for months yet. Yes you apply to UAC and you list your preferences up to 9 in order of what you want the most to least (even if you are unsure if you will make the cut-off as they change yr to yr). Then wait until results (for a better idea e.g. you might want to reorder your preferences) and then offers in early Jan if I'm remembering correctly.

Seriously, applying for uni is not like applying for grant money: if you can't figure it out yourself to some degree, you probably shouldn't go to uni.
