i just got this radio, that can play cd's that has mp3's in it...

but i've got some mp3 files which has got a bit rate of 32 kbps...i would like to know, how i can change that to 96 kbps (coz thats what the radio can read from)??

also what does "sampling frequencies" mean, coz i also need to make sure that it is 44.1kHz.

cheers

musicmatch jukebox

it helps *a bit*

it's the cheating way to do it.

you can't really make it 'better' unless you got those hardcore music programs.

well, put it this way the place i downloaded it has it at 32 kbps (since that would mean less file sizes)...so yeah, i just need to know how to convert it in order for me to make an "mp3 disk" for my cd player.

dont think you can change an mp3 with 32kbps to 128kps

you have to do it in the encoding when you rip it from a cd.

use iTunes

Theres nothing stopping you to decode the 32kb/s MP3 back into a WAV, then encode the WAV into a 128kb/s MP3 again.

The idea is that so it can be played in freakingout's MP3 player...since it doesn't support 32kb/s.
