Brush up on ur sourcework and use those skills to check the reliability, accuracy and bias of what the historian claims
If you're asking how to present something like this in an essay, you just explain the historians viewpoint and give the reasons why you dont agree. For example, "Historian A says X about WW2. However, historian A's viewpoint fails to consider Y". That's a pretty crude example, but that's pretty much how to disagree with a viewpoint in any essay.
