How to find out about processor specs (1 Viewer)

I was just wondering if any of you know how i can find out about my processor specs ... i want to see if ive been switcheroo'd ... i ordered a amd64 3200+ venice core, and i want to see if its venice or newcastle, how can i do this?

As far as i recall that only gives you "cached" information based on the mhz of your chip.

The only way to know is to open up the case, http://fab51.com/cpu/guide/opn-64-e.html
