From what I have been told by 99+ uai people is that doing past papers and heaps of questions is very effective.
The main thing is consistancy and working well over the entire year not in short bursts or just before exams.

Not really a secret, just work like a madman.

Pick subjects you enjoy and do well in them; study efficiently and smart throughout the year.

Pick subjects with high scaling and get tutors to do your essays for you; study every waking moment you get, and every sleeping moment during exam period.
pop.

obviously they did study, but i think also you have to want it more then anything, give up most things in order to get it. but personally i dont think a 99+ uai really shows anything yeah ok your smart, but all in all unless it is a uai to get into a specific course witch you can sometimes work around anyway just try your best without going to extremes, if you dont get 99 dont be disappointed it isnt the end of the world

Find yourself a copy of the HSC EXPERIENCE magazine and have a read through that, some good stories from past HSC students that did really well and their experiences and what they did to get good marks etc etc.

It doesn't matter what you do; it's how well you do in them, obv., obv.

Hypothetically, if you attained the same mark in each subject (and a band six), then those subjects would lead to a greater amount of scaling when done so by the UAC/universities, but otherwise, you're in for a lot of shit (4U Maths).

Btw, Economics > all Japanese (incl. Extension).
lol ok.

Why in the world would you include Japanese? Fail scaling language. Why not Classical Greek Extension?

Yes. 4U Maths is winrar.

highest scaling subjects?

4 unit maths, 3 unit latin extension, 2 unit distinction and english advanced (since you must do english) maybe?

but you don't need the above combo to get 99+ it.

Basically any combo will give you 100. (99% of the subject combo ??)
