ok.. when your at redfern, facing the exit, you turn right.. keep walking till you hit the set of lights then make a left (i think the street is abercrombie)... then keep walking past the shops and cross the road so taht your opposite the side where the shops are.... you will hit a set of lights and then make a right and voila, your at usyd. you should see the usyd sign and your home free!! LOL

its like a 5 minute walk..... and won't be that hard to find....

there is no uni bus... well there is no uni bus thats for free!!

you just catch one of the normal sydney buses that passes by usyd.

i'd say take the redfern option.. everyone does it. in the mornings around 8.45 there is a whole army of us... none stop line of people on both sides of the road walking from redfern to usyd.

i went up to usyd the other day just to use the library and walking through refern was a bit scary and also if u want to get to the camperdown campus (the main one with the library and quadrangle), u might wanna consider newtown station. but since there are gonna be heaps of ppl on that day maybe the redfern way isnt so bad...the walk from newtown to campus is a fair bit (about 10 minutes) but i always go that way just to avoid redfern. also if ur going by refern, after the lights, dont keep walking down the lane like a friend of mine did! u cant miss the usyd sign neway!

There's nothing wrong with Redfern. There's usually a Uni security patrol car at the station, to help out if anything goes wrong. Half the time there's police standing there. There's lots of other uni students going the same way so you can't get lost. After dark when there's less people there's a free security bus from uni to Redfern.

i agree with "user".. there is nothign wrong with redfern.. there might be people asking for money soemtimes but you learn to ignore them... and plus there is always security there...

i had to walk to redfern station on fridays when i finished at 6 in the evening.. it wasn't bad...

when i went to usyd i just got a train to redfern and then walked. there will be a lot of people about walking to the uni aswell. you can also ask someone, they will say go left or right, depending on what way you are facing. :)
