How to prepare for Legal studies essays (1 Viewer)

For me, Legal studies is the hardest to study due to the unpredictability of the essay questions in Section 2/3 (elective questions). I have a good understanding of the topics, but I fear if I study hard on a section from the topic, and in the exam, they will throw a curve ball that my reserved response will not answer correctly.

For example, I consolidated a thorough memorised response on the Criminal investigation process and the Criminal trial process, but if the Question asks for young offenders and my essay does not have a hint of correlation, I will lose out on 15-25 marks. That fear of unpredictability is the only thing scaring me.

Well, the only thing to combat unpredictability in the HSC, is to actually cover it (do it). There is still time though to memorise any last bits of info. for electives you get two choices, if you don't like one question you can pick another. But crime is a bit tricky, the only thing you can do is like I said to cover everything.
