I'm holding my first PiP interview tomorrow (in person, with someone I know so it's not a big deal if I muddle it up too much), how have you guys recorded yours? I might just do a verbal interview with a voice recorder on my phone and transcribe later, but I was thinking I'd just write down what my interviewee says? How have you guys approached this?

TIA

I did mine over zoom, but what you've said so far is pretty good 👍. Just make sure you've gone over your questions well to prepare yourself. In terms of writing down what your interviewee said, I wrote down key points while conducting my interview. Then later I would basically go over it in more detail with the transcription. I also created small summaries afterwards of what they said and possible quotes I would use in my PIP writing to support my claims or show differences of opinions
