So I've attempted to write some notes for Martin Luther for Christianity, and I've realised that the syllabus dot points are very general, hence I'll have to make up my own sub headings for notes.

I sat there for about half an hour trying to think of how to set it all out and I really have no idea.

Anyone have any ideas??

always provide a link to the bliefs religion
i.e
judiasm and the chauappah how does this represent the belifs of judiam
for sexual etics or ethics always provide the etxual link within the sacred texts
eg."be fruitful and mutiply" (genesis1:28)

^^^ ummm...no

Set out as per the syllabus (even though it is broad)

ie

explain the contribution to the
development and expression of
Christianity of ONE significant person OR
school of thought, other than Jesus,
drawn from: <insert list of names here>

plus this is the important bit

analyse the impact of this person OR
school of thought on Christianity

ie who were they and what did they do that was so important.

NB the two core terms...they are your guide ie dont just describe their life etc but what was their impact both then and now (thats my take on the two points)

For the trials and the HSC, I would recommend avoiding this question as a 20 marker like the plague unless you are really confident with doing a biography

/2 cents

When analysing their impact could you possibly break it up into:
Beliefs
Contributions
Blah blah blah
And then use all of those things to analyse their impact?

And, is it important for me to know the finer details of Luther's life? i.e. What University he went to and what not?

Not really as the syllabus doesnt really ask for description (which is what you are doing)

ie its just filler that takes over IMHO
