1) dont stress: if your like most ppl, you've got at least 4-5 days to study for it

2) go through each 4 topics examined- DONT SPECULATE about what they are gonna ask u

3) its to late to make notes (hopefully u would have some notes by now) what u do is RE-summarise them

4) practice trial papers

5) remember that they can mix essay questions for all 4 topics, so make sure u write at least 4 essays on the topics u think r most likely to b examined...

my tips:
a) policy mix
b) CAD - problems and policy to address it
c) impact of globalisation on an aspect of Aust economy
d) one of the economic issues, i think unemployment

hope this helps... you still got time, so hop to it!

And try to stick to topics that have some overlap. In paticular, inflation/unemployment, policy mix, micro reform, etc.

im so going to fail this test man... and it sh*ts me cause i have done really really well in all the other exams. I do 11 units.. so if i completely bomb out in Economics, do u think its going to matter all that much?

i think i might be capable of a 60 percent mark.. i never seem to be able to go well in eco.. i dont know why..

My method:
memorise (or at least try to) 10 essays, which covers the whole course, therefore ur prepared for any extended response, and at the same time, the essays u've prepared cover most of the common short answers

i disagree and think memorising economics is not all that helpful. Unlike business studies, it involves lots of relationships and understanding rather than memorising essays, so best bet is to read through notes till u understand it

u have to understand though, in order to memorise essays, u must first understand the work you are memorising, or else its no use
i memorise essays because i perfect it, the wording and sophistication...i can create an essay off my head, but it simply wont be as good as a prepared response
