How to transfer from 1 uni to another? (1 Viewer)

Im thinking of changing from one uni to another. How would I need to apply to do this, through UAC (do i need to buy the book or could i do it over the net)? Also, is a credit average good or woudl i have needed say higher marks?

I can't apply for credit for the units of study undertaken at my uni in the UAC form, but I can only once i get accepted in teh new uni, right? Will they know in the UAC form that I want to continue as a second year or will they decide by looking at the units i have completed?
