I haven't been home yet, by train it would take me 8 hours to get back, which is very inconvenient. My parents aren't too worried about the college situation, they think it's good preparation for later in life when you go out and work where there will be lots of other distractions (eg. renting, paying bills etc) just like college.
Yeah my course goes for 5 years as well. I just had an accounting tutorial which was the most boring ever, the tutor was the worst teacher I have come across in my life. Hence I changed my timetable today, so I now have friday's off, even with a 25 hour week.
Whenever I'm in an accounting lecture the best part of it is the mid-break

I don't think I could cope with it. But accounting is the type of subject which you can cram towards the end, because the work material is so easy to learn. I could not have gone to any lectures and I would still know the same amount of accounting material I know now. You can't do that with maths, physics or chem though, because they deal with more complicated, thought-provoking concepts.
The science lectureers are so much more interesting and enthusiatic about what they teach than the commerce ones. The commerce ones just seem so lifeless, dead, and boring.
I've got to start my accounting assignment soon before I leave it to the last minute, which I usually always do
