argh, just got back from uni now (got their at 6:30), consisted of about tens laps around the airport (taking off , going around , touching down and taking off again etc...)
in referring to some previous posts;
um yea we dont rly have helmets but we have headsets (earmuffs), proper dress uniforms, radios, as well as alot of other equipment not rly worth mentioning but yea flight planning takes about twice as long as the flight itself.
at the moment we are just flying small planes, nothing major untill another year where we choose electives. so no real high performance a/c (e.g. jets, rockets etc)
yes a Hind is a Russian assualt helicopter, and one of the most common found around the world.
