Man this exam got me stressing a bit... don’t want to dwell on it but I’ve got 10 days before my next exam and nothing to distract me
Really wanted that state rank but now just worrying about every question hoping I got 100%

Honestly the thought didn’t even cross my mind. My school doesn’t really allow retaking courses and my 47/50 was enough to scrape by a projection for the course I want. Also only started getting really competitive at maths like halfway through this year haha

Depends how long it takes for Matrix to get their hands on it. Last year it was after like 2 hours lol. I guess they should be out in the next few days

Yeah the circle represented the modulus of Z. The answer was C I think; it had double the argument and the same modulus as Z

z^2/|z| = (|z|^2)*(cisa)^2/|z| = |z|*cis(2a) where z = |z|cisa

Well guys, it was good fun but sadly the state rank has gone out the window. A few silly mistakes has brought what could have been 100 down to what looks like a 96, or 97 if they’re generous. She’ll be right, still a decent mark

How did you guys do the proof for the pully question with mass 4m and 2m? I had no clue where to get the 3

Nah they were all correct on there.

total mass = 6m (of the system) which was the denominator, and there was a factor of 2 you could remove from both top and bottom

So the ‘3’ came from the net mass of 2 to the right divided by the total mass of 6’in the system
