The dates have been released.

Beginners - Saturday 17th September 10.am - 4.00pm
Continuers - Saturday 10th September 9.00am - 4.00pm
Extension - 17th September 9.00am - 4.00pm

This is maybe a very stupid question, but... I thought the HSC started in October.. why are the speaking exams so early?

yes, some subjects will have them in august as well.

it's too hard to co ordinate speaking exams in with the normal exams and it's better to get them finished earlier

Yeah, I had my beginners speaking exam in September when I did mine.

So the french and italian oral exams are on the same day???? What the..???

That's ridiculous. How are we supposed to manage that. Please someone else out there tell me they do both and that they're stressed because of this date! I was told it would be at least a week a part.

they are a week apart...check the timetable...sorry i hope i didnt stress u....i meant i have a french exam 2 but they are not on the same day

Hehe, i have German speaking straight after my trials. Like... they end on a friday and then on the saturday are german speaking HSC! How crazy is that. I spose we'll be really studied up tho.
