I heard about the key words for science subjects such as describe, explain, identify...etc are required using particular words to answer the question.

for example, for a question asked to "explain",
students have to use particular words like "because", "Therefore"...etc to respond the question. Also there is a certain way/order of answering the question?!
I know that each question has to cover some certain contents..
Just a bit confused about the wording of answer.

Anyone knows about this???
if tell me more about it...

A Glossary of Key Words (HSC)

Syllabus outcomes, objectives, performance bands and examination questions have key words that state what students are expected to be able to do. A glossary of key words has been developed to help provide a common language and consistent meaning in the Higher School Certificate documents.
