Just thought I'd make a list of all the stats we need (or should have handy) for our coming exam that I can think off of the top of my head right now. I'll be posting probably the stats later on this week when I have a comprehensive amount. I'll be having 3 stats, pre-GFC, post-GFC, current. Here goes:
- Economic growth
- Inflation/CPI movements
- Unemployment rate
- Interest rate(cash rate) -> history and facts
- Fiscal stance/budget facts
- CAD, BOPS -> Net Primary Income and Balance on Goods and Services
- Monetary inflows, investment etc. (FDI stock)
- Exchange rate
- Gini co-efficient
- HDI
- NAIRU
- GWP
- Microeconomic reforms, deregulation in certain industries, skill/training programs of recent nature
- Trade Weighted Index
- Foreign Debt levels
- Net foreign liablities
- Export Base/Import Base --> ToT
- Capt and fin account surplus
- Debt servicing ratio
ALSO, I'm getting similar ones but not as much for my case study of Brazil.
IF I've missed anything add to it. (Will rep)
