I have to answer this question in 1500 words under an essay format.

"Assess the view that Nazi foreign policy was more driven by opportunity than by ideology?"

does anyone know any great sites to find primary/secondary sources for this?

Also in my response i'm arguing against opportunity, and saying that it was more the case of ideology.




and what would you say is a good layout for such a question?


Intro - Thesis, state my 3 quotes for ideology (Racial theories, volksgemeinschaft, social darwinism) + 1 quote for opportunity.

So far I think you're on the right track in terms of structure, but why are you putting all these quotes in the introduction?

Rather than focus on quotes what is the general thesis of the historian you are quoting? That is more important.
