I was just wondering who here used the HSC online web site as a major part of their study and trust the notes there? Do u think that they are a little generalised? Or would u trust them all the way? I find them pretty helpful and good for getting out key concepts that text books crap on about a little too much, but im not sure about assuming all the information as correct (in some cases i find contradictions to my text book). Anyone else have an opinion?

they are a very good source.

i find the best way to utilise them is to have them as reference points when making notes. so, what i do is make notes on a certain dot-point and then use the csu notes to add anything i have missed out on. but, thats what i do and may not work for others.:)

The best way to study is probably to make your own notes, print them into very neat small booklets, and cover them with a very neat plastic sleeve. In the end they become an eye candy, good to look at while studying. It does take a lot of time tho :)

i think they're good for things which the text books miss, however, i wouldn't use them as my primary notes. not detailed enough!!

im with rahul. I use them as a 'check' that ive covered the main points. There isnt enough detail for a lot of the dot points so i use other sources such as excel/surfing/macmillan

they're a bit better now thats its updated... but i agree... just use it as a means of checking your on the right track and you've covered the main points of a dot point
