HSC: Poor internal marks, still possible to achieve a decent atar? (1 Viewer)

I have a question, it'd be nice if someone answered. Is it still possible to get an atar of 90 with internal marks of 40-70% on assessments and the half yearly exams and I have a feeling that I'm not going to do so well in trials, however if I were to step up my game and get band 5 and 6's in the actual hsc can I achieve an atar of 90?

Ps: ranks are generally midway some are top 20's.

Internal marks mean nothing. It's your rank and your relative gap between you and the ones above and below.
E.g. Last year, someone got 72% for trials but ended up with band 6.
