hsc timetables.. so how very gay! (2 Viewers)

I'm probably the only one in the same boat as you Instinct.

I have:
Monday - English and Music 1
Tuesday - Nothing
Wednesday - English
Thursday - Business studies
Friday - Informations process and technology
Sat and Sun - Studying like mad!!!
Monday - Mathematics 2U

so yeah, your the first person I've come across that finishes their entire HSC as early as myself, im the first person in my school to finish first.

anyway i don't think the board of studies will ever change the timetable, as they may feel it will then disadvantage many others than the small amount of students at the moment.

but still I think it is totally unfair and would rather get much more time within exams to study for upcoming ones, however on the bright side, we would be receiving 2-3 weeks more holidays than most people doing the HSC

Wholly crap, That is the most unbelievable timetable I have ever seen! I thought I was lucky finishing on the 6th of November, when everyone else finishes around the 13th! You're the luckiest person I know!

I have 3 in the first week
2 in the second
2 in the third
1 in the final week-i have a whole week to study for SOR!

Is it just me or have they structured the timetable something like this...

Week 1 - primarily humanities eg. english, business, modern history

Week 2 - primarily maths and sciences

Week 3 - primarily extension humanities like ext.1 english, ext history (?)

Week 4 - left overs eg. drama


now I didn't go and check my facts on this so I could be wrong. But am I on the right track with it or what?


I reckon its wierd that they would put so many large exams in the first week...

by the way why does english feel they have to have two exam papers? Maths seems to be able to fair well enough without it although they have the same number of courses to separate out in terms of scaling or whatever...

Exactly, English think that they are top $%&#, but in fact, they can just kiss my ass. They don't deserve an EXTRA exam, who the hell do they think they are!!!

But the alternative is a 4 hour test where we do essays for Modules + AOS.......my arm would fall off

2 hour tests are bad enough!

Every other subject can fit in all the modules/topics into one exam... english for some reason feels the need for us to have this crappy AOS comprehension stuff

why couldnt they bloody have english on the same day.. 2 of the exams, or on consecutive days, but chose to have another subject inbetween english exams... $*#(*#^#!!!!
