Anyone else pretty damn excited about this phone? I wanted the iPhone, but the camera is pretty gh3y. Then I read about this other phone on overcockers. It is pretty l33t.

Awesome things are:

480x800 resolution
5MP camera (although no flash...wtf bbq?!)
3.5mm headphone port (best thing evaaaaaaaaaar)
upgradeable memory via microsd cards

Can anyone think of reasons not to get it (apart from the price)?

has no hdd, can't really compete with iPhone's 8GB.

iphone also has a 16gb hdd, but this one has microsd support. you can get 16gb cards and there's plans for an 32gb one to come out soon

Runs WinMo. Only thing that could possibly tear me away from iPhone would be Android.

Tbh, the first release (tmobile) seems shit. The second release with that virtual compass feature looks *drool*. The phone itself looks gay though.

and yeah i agree with all of you about windows mobile do any games even work with it that are good? and apparently after the opening aesthetic cool things, it looks crap (like when you run apps)

in regards to the suggestion that three will be getting th HTC touch HD: they probably need something to compete with the iPhone considering their "unlock an iphone and we'll reimburse some of it" thing has been undermined by Optus now only offering unlocked iPhones through the sydney city store.

How many of the people who are attacking WinMo have used it for a bit?

I have a WinMo 2003SE phone and it is the best. The iPhone does not compare. the iPhone should not be classified as a smartphone it is simply a phone with a touchscreen. WinMo is the best mobile OS IMO. You can now get 32gb sdhc cards so there is plenty of opportunity for storage. the ram does not get used up instantly. close some programs if you don't want to run out of ram

hardly any phones support sd cards, only microsd, and there are no 32gb microsd cards.

also, other smartphones apart from the iphone also tend to support these cards.

i think ill wait for android and for the phone to come out with a flash
