anyone work in the HR field ? if so how did you get your job etc

"HR Coordinator", was my job title when at Telstra stadium. Wouldn't call it much of an HR role to be honest, but the title looks good!

Job found through the online job boards provided here at uni. Got the job becuase I was studying HR/Psych/Business, which all aligned up. Best thing I learnt there was that HR was not for me.

Make a LOT of friends because they will help you in future.

Very true... but I'd not technically call them 'friends'. They're a network; people you've been in contact with and might call upon for some form of help, that you stay vaguely in touch with, but don't see as often as others you'd call 'friends'. ...or maybe I'm just more introverted than you
