obviously the UN & their treaties, the ICC & ICJ, War Crimes Tribunal. Not particularly effective because of state-sovereignty, countries cannot be forced to ratify agreements & treaties or participate in the ICC & ICJ. Cannot be enforced except through sanctions etc, which cause problems for international relations and lead to tension and in the extreme instance, war.

but remember than international law is harder to enforce... in comparison to domestic law..

whatever you do you have to relate to Australia, and when you relate it to Australia make sure you discuss specific legislation and actions that show how the goverment acts or doesn't act to incorporate the provisions of international instruments blah blah blah

ratification of the covenants is important also the non-governmental bodies are important in internation law like human rights watch and also world health organisation
