lol ur kinda posting in wrong area but homonin is the new term for 'homonid' as you should know previously.. the term homonid entailed the greater apes and humans (orangutans, gorillas, chimpanzees and humans)
however recent genetic evidence has shown that orangutans may not be as closely related as first though
so now hominin refers to (humans , chimps and gorillas) where as oranguatans are on a seperate subfamily..
damn its soo harder to explain..
um... i think what i wrote above is a bit iffy..
best thing for you to do is go to the australian museum websites
they hav lots of recent evidence on this
