UAI help

subject, rank, mark/100, % of course finished/100

3u mat- 8 or 9/25, ~70% (60%) <- scaled by school
4u mat- 4/8, ~80% (40%) <- scaled by school
*adv eng- 3/48, ~96% (60%)
*3u eng- 3/6, 73% (20%)
*sdd- 2/11, 81% (35%)
*sor 2u- 1/23, 80% (70%)
*phy- 6/24, 70% (30%)

1. wat marks would i need to get in the hsc exam for 90+?

2. what kind of aggregate will i need to get > 90%, so i can fiddle around with the lazseeker.

3. which subjects do i need to pull up my ranks for b4 the trials, as many as possible?

4. the *'d subjects are wat i am going alright in or know i will get better marks, unfortunately my 4u of maths are getting worse:(. this is going to have a bad effect right, how bad

5. thanks!

your school technically shouldn't be letting you know your scaled marks....it is BOS regulations

At our school we only get our ranks.... no assessment marks at all on our reports... although one could calculate their raw mark because we know the weightings for all our assessments etc.

Rahul -

1. Use the UAISeeker. :uhhuh:

2. It varies... usually somewhere between 360 and 380.

3. ME1, Physics, EE1 and ME2 (in that order).

4. It depends... ultimately, it shouldn't be -too- bad, considering you're doing 13 units. You have some (minor) elbow room. Though maths is generally one of the easier subjects to improve in.

5. No worries. :)

Others -

All students are entitled to their rankings; the BOS "recommends" that schools do not give out the actual marks (so as to avoid confusion due to a misunderstanding of the system), but the decision itself is left to individual schools.

any approximates off the top of ur head(not literally):)
high/low band 5's across the subjects?

does it matter which subjects use to get this? Or will that automatically come into the calculation of the aggregate.

3. ME1, Physics, EE1 and ME2 (in that order).
point noted. why did u choose that order? is it because they are most valuable(in terms of UAI) for me, or are they the ones i need to improve the most in? (boy does that sound confusing)

that make feel good:)...i know practice practice practice....

5. No worries. :)
thanks again.

1. No, it varies too much.
2. No; scaling takes care of that (and the aggregate consists of scaled marks).
3. They're sorted in descending order by the benefit gained from improving (imo).
