I need a related text (1 Viewer)

I need a related text for a speech on both Frank Hurley (Prescribed Text) and my related text (Yet to be decided). I need suggestions for a related text with good connections to discovery and with one word answers for describing it. (ie. The book is about 'survival', 'passion', etc. This is in order to make it easier to write an essay and get more marks)

I haven't done this text so I don't have any idea of what exact text you should use but here are some suggestions:

I'm doing the Frank Hurley doco as my prescribed, and I'm having difficulty choosing a related.
I've considered Colourless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage, The Goldfinch, and Requiem for a Dream.

Any suggestions? Thanks a bunch.
