My best friend's parents are doing this. They're saying they only stayed together til he was old enough to not be scarred by it but he thinks he'd have preferred it if they hadn't.

my friends parents recently broke up she said its a lot better then watching them fight all the time..maybe you will feel the same?

Er no, i dont really feel comfortable getting into that sort of shit on here. The same reason(s) as most other break ups though is generally right, nothing extremely juicy.

Never met my dad, personally. But my Aunt just had her husband walk out on her basically... they have a one year old and I think the situation is pretty shit. Moreso the way he went about it.

I can completely understand. Just the thought of two responsible adults living together makes you think you have a stable family. Don't worry, even if the spliting up does occur it won't be bad for you - you will still have an arguably stabler family setup, can see your mother+father still, and overall it will be good.

Stop stressing!! :)

yeah same , dad walked out on us at when i was 5. its not that bad really, unless you're a normal family and you have shared heaps of experiences with both your parents but yeah all the best
